Purdue football had one of its sloppiest games as its losing streak reached nine games in a 49-13 defeat by Washington in Seattle on Saturday.
The Boilermakers were playing against former coach Ryan Walters, who coordinated the Huskies' defense. Though the talent deficit was likely to lead to the result that it was, but the execution by Purdue was rare.
Using a two-quarterback system didn't allow starter Ryan Browne to get in the rhythm, but Malachi Singleton was able to move the ball with 13 of 14 first downs with him at QB. Singleton had an RPO on a QB rush but found E.J. Horton Jr. for the Boilers' lone touchdown.
